The Parish is made up by, Pewsham, Bowood and Sandy Lane and Derry Hill and Studley in North Wiltshire.

The Parish Council serves and represents the community of Derry Hill & Studley. We work towards improving community well-being and providing better services at a local level. The parish council is always keen to hear the views and ideas of local residents and businesses on ways in which it can achieve this.

How We Can Help

Representing the local Community

The role of the Parish Council is to represent the interests of the whole community. It is a part of local government supporting the democratic process. Local Councils provide a focus for the community to identify concerns and projects, and endeavour to solve them locally themselves.

Planning

The Parish Council is a consultee on planning applications and plays an active part in the production of the Calne Area Neighbourhood Plan.

Road Closures / Highway Issues

Local highway safety issues can be brought to the Parish Council by
members of the public through the Highways Improvement Request Scheme.

Litter

The Parish Council takes pride in its area and provide public waste bins and encourages locals and visitors to keep the area clean.

Grants & Funding

Groups and organisations can apply to the Council for funding to supply equipment and improvements.

Parish Steward

The Council has the use of the Parish Steward for 2 days a month.
